LOL Troup :D Never thought you can speak german.......

man I hope they're looking for some new ideas on PMP and not the same old crap recycled... but you really cant lose much, whats $50 bucks... an average night at the bar?

That site will get flooded soon, I'm glad I caught it somewhat early... the featured beats are ok... nothing special... nothing I havent heard...

The track dump feature is probably the best idea of that site.

I should make a similar website and start a label just taking beats from that site... wouldnt that be easy? You dont even have to shop around... you just make a track dump and listen to the first 10 seconds of a track and if you like it you show it to your artists and if you dont you go on to the next. Gotta love the laziness...

You gotta love the 3rd person descriptions of the producers... classy! That basically means they have enough money to hire someone to write stupid ish about them as if they had music in their genes or they have gotten coverage in a magazine and just used that... even better are the descriptions of their tracks... fuggin brainless idiots. Things like "HARD KNOCKING BANGA" (the shouting occurs, too) really have market appeal.

**** commercialism, but I need to feed my illegitimate children somehow...

PROT (shout!)
LOL @ this Dude.....really.....
no hate bro but your makin music for 7 years.....and your beats are not at the same level i would expect from a person who had been doing that for 7 years.....

Du musst mal mehr an dir arbeiten und noch mehr an deiner Musik......
7 Jahre...man....... Und die Vocals vom "Give It To Me" Remix sind wie Troup schon sagte total OFFBEAT !!!!!

when sending songs to the track dump, are ya'll sending full length versions or beat cd versions which are only about two minutes long???? I gotta song I want to submit in a track dump...
Yea, thats what I wanna know. Can anybody answer this?

You just upload up to 15 full songs, so when you submit to track dump you submit full. I guess you could upload samples if you wanted.

I always submit FULL. The artists and A&R's that you send the track to have the ability to download the track, which means they may want to write to it etc. And they'll need the full track to write a full song.

nuff respect. i checked the link and then googled to find if there was any legal or negative issues to make sure they weren't another form of a check cashing 'scam' for poor or bad credit folks. didn't find many, mainly the typical phishing that goes on the net.
i'm goin' sign up, probably take about 7-8 days for paypal to confirm and **** then straight to pmp to let the chips fall as they may.

Darko, good lookin' out. 1

People need to get off this "i don't want nobody to steal my beats" crap. Think about it...

No professional is gonna put your MP3 on an album. It's not mixed. If it can't be mixed, it's not going on an album.

The way that artists do it, they'll get a track they are considering, and they'll write and record to it. If the song comes out hot, then they'll buy the beat. If it doesn't come out hot, then they'll dump it.

So the A&R's on PMP, what they do is download the tracks that they like from the track dump and take em to the artist. The artist goes thru them, picks some (if any) and tries to write songs to em. If they come out hot, then you possibly got a sale. If not, then it's scrapped.

But if you are just giving them samples, then there's no way you're gonna sell any beats, because the artists can't record any songs to em.

Got me?

If its got a full verse and chorus they can always fly them, and thats what they do.

No problem. I think the paypal activation is instant. they might have changed it but i doubt it.

paypal is instant but taking the funds and confirming it = exchange rate means 7 days for it to my paypal account. that's good though, since i'll need that time to make a bio, which i half assed on my myspace page and will definitely improve

Oh ok, I didn't know how it works out of the country. Good luck to you.

i forgot that 'reading is fundamental'. i researched the company but not their policy, and there's no way for me to get one since they don't have it up here and i thought i could set it up online. i checked and there's alternatives up here, i applied but i'm goin' to have to wait 7-8 days to get confirmed and then maybe another 3-4 days to get the card in the mail.
anything too easy isn't worth gettin' so i'll find some more ways around the ****stem, i mean system

it says that Webbie's track dump is open. but then when u go to submit he's not even listed as one of the artist to submit to...i think pmp has some kinks it needs to work out

i got quite a few A&R subscriptions (32)

and i got two tracks on the featured music list....

only been on there for about 2 months....but its definitely a tool to use

i continuously tell cats to quite thinkin **** is gonna pop off overnight....there will be times where it takes 2 or 3 yrs for a submission to place anywhere...u need to be patient

and if u dont think ur up to par, then dont waste your money hoping to luck out....because it aint about hot beats....its about being consistent as well......bc theres plenty of cats who have long lists of placements who are still broke working at a warehouse
