Sad R&B Song

I finished this remix to an acapella by singer Patricia Edwards. The song is called "I Didn't Mean it". I arranged this by myself (no sampled loops). Any feedback on the production and entire song would be greatly appreciated. Also, don't forget to drop a link if you'd like feedback!

The singing is great, very emotive. The "scream" sample is innovative, but try not to overuse it.

I like your approach in the chorus, but like Donta Black points out, it seems to go off key. Now, that can be a style, but a lot of people probably won't find it appealing. Try changing the pitch of the vocals to match the music of vice versa. The bridge at 2:30 really picks up the song - try using it twice in the song. Another idea is to add a key change on the final chorus.

Sounds pretty good but the chorus is off key. The harmonies don't really work with the chord progression right there. I'd also like to hear a little delay or reverb on the vocals to make them have a little more presence. The beats on point though, nice job.
