No. You must not have read my other post. If you own Reason, but don't own Record and buy it now, you get Reason 5 for free when it's released.

So, for the $150 that somebody would have spent on Record alone, they'll get Record and Reason 5!!!!!

The way I look at it is this, they didn't include the SSL in Reason 5, but instead, for the same money they are giving you ALL of Record!!!! The whole program!!!!

Actually, that's a much better deal!!!!

that's the whole point why love the props there pretty much giving you a daw designed for reason plus all of reason effects and devices and new devices to go along with it.

I'll take the Record/Reason 5 two for one red light special for $150.

The upgrade to Reason 4 from Reason 3 was almost the same price. Why wouldn't I take it????

I would love to see a dedicated 7 band EQ that's hot. Midi out if they add that, it's over!!! Protools can forget it.

In the future the thing to add is VIDEO into Record! Vst's and Vsti's wouldn't be a problem not to add because Props will have their own. But if they implement Video, it's over!

Yeah hop on that. Because that Dr. OctoRex IS OFF THE FREAKIN CHAIN! I hope that's in 1.5 Record and all the other hot stuff in Reason if it's in Record I will just do Record.

yeah i will be there i was at the hosting for record. my dude. the problem always come through with little secrets that get me hyped when im there.

most likely the octorex wont be in record alone you would need to upgrade to reason 5. because it's a reason device. this is why i said you would get reason 5 because i knew the props had something up there sleeve. :sing:

I don't think Dr. OctoRex will be in the Record 1.5 update because it is a Reason 5 device. If you upgrade to Reason 5, you will be able to open it in Record, but it doesn't come with the Record 1.5 update.

Well Mr Gibbs and KB I will be getting Reason 5 then, I aint missing out on that. that's the only way they will get me to buy it. I can imagine that integrated with Record, man I am speechless :smokinFP:

Yo man, you can do 8 loops at once, heck you can make up a whole track just using Dr.OctoRex alone! Put up two with 16 tracks and it's a wrap! Omnisphere has this and RMX, but this is like totally off the freakin chain!

So Danoc, I guess I won't have to cut my nails right? Also, Dr. Octorex is still nothing. This is the weakest, that's why this is the first to come out. There will be a monster(literally) that is about to rise. And then a trident that deals with, um, nevermind.LOL

Yes I did say all that but you forgot to put up if I am forced to get Reason because Record devices don't have what Reason has That's the only way I would get Reason. Other wise I will just get Record.

But thats just one small part !
The next thing will be a new drummashine 4 sure.

Like I said earlier, I think the unveils will get better as the week progresses. You always save the best for last!!!!!
 
Octorex would impress me if it could read .wav and aif loops the same way FL Slicer could. But then they would be able to sell ReCycle, lol. Goes back to my prior post of being more excited if the revamped Recycle to do more.

Now I'll just have 8 slots I never use in a new instrument. Maybe the NNXT will get the same type makeover.

Combinator will not totally do what Dr. Octorex can do. There's more to it than that, but yeah, this is still minor. Drum Machine for next announcement? Nope! After that maybe...LOL:sing:
