Producers with hearing loss?

oh yeeeah i remember years ago she came out about that. i think its why she hasn't come back to. always liked her vocal styling. very street and tough.

If I'm not mistaken one of the guys from Daft Punk went deaf in one ear? I'm not too sure, they did just make an album but I heard they weren't touring or doing any shows because of that.
 
The way i've been bumping old Dr Dre songs is going to give me tinnitus one day especially the song "Keep their heads ringing".
 
I have hearing loss. Mostly due to the fact of being a Marine, gunshots and explosions, I try to mix at a smooth pleasant level. It' the mids that hurt my ears though, if its too loud.
