SMH @ people getting mad at people for not having alot of gear.

You'd be shocked if you saw how simple my setup was.

F**k it. I guess I'll give y'all a chance to clown.

Colonel Sanders you kind of have to know people on here before you start joking with them like that. Especially if you are going to call us trash.

My Setup

Thought I'd share my lil' setup as well. It's nothing complex, but it gets the job done.

Computer (Windows Vista Home Premium SP2, 3GB RAM, 2.3GHz Dual Core)
19" LCD
M-Audio AudioBuddy Mic. Pre
M-Audio Keystation 61es
KRK RP 5's
Pro Tools M-Powered 7
FL Studio 8 XXL Producer Edition
Close to 20GB of sound kits/samples and VST's

What isn't seen:

AKG Perception 100 Mic.
M-Audio Delta 1010LT PCI Audio Interface

I am wanting to upgrade my pre-amp. I'm looking to spend no more than $250. Can someone recommend a good pre-amp for around $250? I have the Perception 100 mic., and I want to know if a new mic. pre would take the quality up enough to even worry about upgrading the pre. Would that be alright, or would I not get a significantly better quality with that mic. and just a new pre?

hows that 1010lt im thinkin about buyin 1 for the mass of audio ins

I love it, man. It's been great for the 6 months I've had it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quality audio interface. :) I don't regret it in any way.

I got my Echo Layle 24/96 for 50 bucks a few months ago, I know thats kind of hard to fine but I have seen them for 100 to 150 before. I think its better than the m audio joint.

Obi> I don't know that I've ever heard of that one. xD And if it's better than the Delta 1010LT then that's a damn good price. =D I paid $100 for the Delta brand new on eBay.

i thought about that but i already have a bunch of stuff sittin around on my desk (2 rack synths and a rack sampler to be exact) that take up a ton of desk space plus 2 turntables a mixer and my laptop. Im looking to go back to my desktop and conserve some desk space. Hell Im even going to sell my old CRT computer screen that I have been using for years and refusing to upgrade when I get a chance. Plus I like the price tag on the m audio better which is funny kuz i have sworn them off many times lol.
