19" LCD
M-Audio AudioBuddy Mic. Pre
M-Audio Keystation 61es
KRK RP 5's
Pro Tools M-Powered 7
FL Studio 8 XXL Producer Edition
Close to 20GB of sound kits/samples and VST's
What isn't seen:
AKG Perception 100 Mic.
M-Audio Delta 1010LT PCI Audio Interface
I am wanting to upgrade my pre-amp. I'm looking to spend no more than $250. Can someone recommend a good pre-amp for around $250? I have the Perception 100 mic., and I want to know if a new mic. pre would take the quality up enough to even worry about upgrading the pre. Would that be alright, or would I not get a significantly better quality with that mic. and just a new pre?

i thought about that but i already have a bunch of stuff sittin around on my desk (2 rack synths and a rack sampler to be exact) that take up a ton of desk space plus 2 turntables a mixer and my laptop. Im looking to go back to my desktop and conserve some desk space. Hell Im even going to sell my old CRT computer screen that I have been using for years and refusing to upgrade when I get a chance. Plus I like the price tag on the m audio better which is funny kuz i have sworn them off many times lol.I got my Echo Layle 24/96 for 50 bucks a few months ago, I know thats kind of hard to fine but I have seen them for 100 to 150 before. I think its better than the m audio joint.
