i didn't spend anything on it, it was given to me as a holiday gift (got to be politically correct). the sounds are great, it's got a terrific crunchy clap, i haven't gone very far into the rest of the soundbank, i been stuck on that damn clap! however, i think it's broken and it appears to be depleting fast. but i like to lick it (i get up close and personal with my equipment) and it tastes good so yeah i'd say it was worth the price. i'm thinkin about upgrading tho to the hp (hawaiin punch) version. hope i helped ya make your decision

Great man. Thanks for the info. I just ordered the new starburst candycane from candyzounds.com. Check for it at Winter NAMM 2007. Ive been hearing good things about it and i like the three flavor feature. cant wait for it to arrive.

Durability, I read, was for the most part good. There have been a few crazy instances of people going into a trance-like state and viciously devouring the exquisite piece of hardware. They say the cane hypnotized them. I hope this problem can be solved with the new os update, because it would be quite terrible if i ate my brand new piece of hardware.
 
true that. i think it's the stripe effect. i could imagine hypnotism would occur if it were spun rapidly. but it appears i need to start saving up for that because someone stole my candy cane. they left the casing to it but the actual hardware itself is gone :(

i tried filing a police report but they said this is such a high-profile theft that i need to bring this up with the FBI so i'm gonna call them in the morning
