yeah that thing looks nice.....I want to step my game up to PT, but I am kind of intimidated, PT seems to be the best way to record but I have two left thumbs when it comes to software. I guess that is what this place is for.

its a "decent" setup and im planning to buy a little more so umm...yea but i only rap i dont produce so sorry if i dont have any keyboards or special devices that glow...

I just hook my ish into my stereo and it comes out through my technics speakers :)
 
i was thinking of doin that but i dont have a "new" stereo i have an old ass aiwa from like the early 80's that my parents gave me lol i and i have huge speakers but i have no where to place that crap...i mean i could use it IF i had space but as of now i dont...

Those are 65a's with the 10a Subwoofer in the bottom Corner......But i think im gonna get some better speakers down the line......and i dont know but these ******* hum like a mutha****er......maybe its because of my cpu is too close to it.......its picking up some freq.....:cheers:

i see alot of folks using multi puter monitors. I see that reason even talks about detaching the sequencer and putting it on the second monitor with the rack on the first. is that what you do? what else do you do with all those screen (trying to get the ideas)

from right to left:
Screen 1: main screen.
Screen 2: for pianoroll (so that I don't need to turn my head to the mainscreen while trying melodies out. My footpedal is reprogrammed to act as a record button and on the MPD16 pads I have several comands like undo/redo/Panic reset etc...), for the playlist and sometimes I just leave all the messenger windows and mail prog, internet stuff open there, and do my stuff on the main screen. Depends on my mood. ^^
Screen 3: for the Amiga which is below it, for DVD/TV monitoring, as an oscilloscope (with the proper program running on Amiga).

yep. Used to record them on a cheap audio editor which came bundled with mp3 maker a friend of mine gave me.
Now I record everything straight into Edison (new buildt-in Sampler in FL)

I think i would like to get a dual vid card (didn't know they made 3...but yer not using three on the pc r u?). for rack of reason and then for whatever else.
question though. vid, card is that gonna slow up my puter? or is it all self contained (memory wise)?

would that work? and how do you know if puter i have will handle or be capable to handle it? i just looked for anything on ebay that said dual. should i be looking for something specific? options or something?
