obi thnks for the info...im about 30-45days away from tryin to fnd options.... but i need to start doin some homework.......any mic suggestions for kick or snare ;mics.......and possibly small mixer ....Obitheincredible said:a kick mic and a snare mic would ser you fine with over heads.
thnks for the advice like i sd im abt 30-4days away .... will let u knw wht end result is..... stilll doin home work..... again thnksObitheincredible said:Google the recorderman and the john glynns technique. A sm7, ev pl or re anything will work nicely for snare. for kick I personally like the heil pro pr 40 or the shure sm7 for kick. Plus they double for GREAT rap vocal mics. Great for voice overs or rack singers. MY pr 40 is a standard. a small mixer? Id do the pre amp thing but thats me.

1st up said:lookin good . i would really only recommend an mpc if u just have money to throw away and dont need any thing else..because it just doesnt look like an mpc would help ur sit... i have a 1000 tht i have had for several years that i havent touched for abt a year and a half ( gear hog cant get rid of it ) but from looks of ur set up u are already able to do evvery thing and prolly quiker with what u have verses getting a mpc ..i know u werent looking for advice ...just tght i wld put it out there........good luck
if u do recording maybe a good preamp....if not maybe some refills or some new vst ..not sure wht software u have or use regularly .....but an mpc is not going to be able to do anything that u are not already able to do .....( but it will be able to be portable ) it really is a personnal prefrence but like i sd i dont use mine at aLL any more ........i use axiom 61 reason recycle..........but have a few more things but those are my main production tools ...................reviewd set up again maybe some new monitorsBoss Bird said:what would you recomend ..i just been wantin a mpc for ever and never had the money,..so i settled for the mpd and software route..but recently came opoun xtra money and figure why not get something iv always wanted...but if u can give me any other better gear purchases that will benifet my set up let me know
