Thought I'd update you guys with some direct photos as I've got some resized shots available and can't edit my original post:

That's our Recording Studio :)

lol it comes and goes. It just started acting up recently.

it'll get worse.

Mine can crash my PC and even keep it from booting if it's plugged in. I use the MIDI port instead, but that means I can't really edit knob functions like I used to.

Actually that's a 2000XL...but I keep it clean though. It's nothing new under the MPC sun really so I got it mostly for tap tempo and the sound engine and natural swing

It's been awhile but I switched rooms and Karma led me to a 2Kxl finally

how does the firestudio run on your mac book? I have a similar setup and was planning on getting it.

The FireStudio runs great. I just got a new MacBook Pro and had to get a different firewire cable for it, since it uses firewire 400 and the MacBook Pro has a firewire 800 port.

But yeah, it runs really well. Easy to set up.

Just moved to Cape Cod, MA and got thrown into a basement which is an acoustic nightmare! But i'm making it home. Still got to buy some SafeNsound to strap across the ceiling corners and overhead. Got a couple new pieces of gear too. The UBK Fatso, ADC patchbay(waiting on the punchdown tool to wire), Prophet 600 synth, and the UBK Clariphonic should be here in a couple weeks. The MPC60 shitted on me so it's sitting in the closet....fuuukkk!!!
