Pete Rock Drums

i agree with orjanbeats train your ear to get ill....plus filter and use a sp-1200..... it's so......well..... analog.....alot of dudes out here don't know the music now they are listening to is overcompressed version of the original synth or whatever obviously if it's not gotten from wax thats why some producers/sound engineers that work with synths go with a more orthodox but yet unorthodox way to get a track mixed &/or programmed to get a synth or drum to sound doubled up or in my opinion "too airy" for the track.it's like the 80's iguess

lol.....

"you are not a hip hop producer". Only like, 10 of us are ACTUAL producers, and I'll be honest, I didn't fully get into Pete until last year.

Dude probably first learn about Dre, I know I did. Someone mentioned Premier, I'm like, "who?". It just takes time to figure this sh!t out.

I feel the say way about Dilla. Yo even Pete Rock and J rocc said the same thing. Dilla is John Coltrane of our time.
Pete Rock no doubt is the illest but Dilla who create what ill means.
No need to argue about it because we all have different rhythm so respect!!!
