i have a walk in closet bout 2 to 3 ppl can be in there at once. and it echos alot can anyone point me to any good solutions? and could i treat it under $200?

dimensions?

h x w x l - all three dimensions play a part in this sort of problem.

and what is the purpose of the closet and the treatment you want - isolation room? vocal booth? live room?

Under 200 you'd probably be best taking the DIY route. It's fun and relatively easy, and best of all it's a number of times cheaper than buying foam panelling yourself.

acoustic foam (not too expensive) goes quite a long way in terms of improving the echo problem, but foam will only be effective at absorbing high frequencies so any problems with the lower frequencies will not be improved, for low end absorption i would recommend buying rock wool insulation and making your own bass traps with it, its what i did in my room and the improvement is incredible.
