If you listen to Nas Untitled album. Theres a track called Ni***r. Dj Toomp made the beat. This beat is inspired by that. He used the same kind of drums. Also Cant Tell Me Nothing from Kanye. For some reason i just like those drums

Nice sample! I agree though, that the snare could've been a different one. On Can't tell me nothing this type of snare is layered with a clap, that's the reason why it doesn't sound cheap. You should try this too, at least on the first and the last snare.

On this beat i did use a snare and clap stacked on top of each other. 808 snare and 808 clap. Maybe the snare isnt visible enough to hear. What do u think?

Dope as hell! And I disagree with everybody's opinion on the snare. It adds impact especially when the snare and claps is temporarily removed and then comes back in again. It is a great composition for the ears man. Keep it the Helll up! lol Peace
