Naming Your Beats

If I was your beat, why would I return any kind of work involved in my creation if I'm nothing more than an investment to you?

i normally name them with the sample they use so i remember what they used.....

It's easier to remember "The Darkroom" rather than "Beat 01777" or "Beat 02777"

Ha, this is a funny one, sometimes I'll even just daze thinking of a title, most times, it's whats in the melody and what kind of vibe it gives it just comes in my head instantly, just the 1st words that come up in your head, titleing your beat, IE.

Ron Jon - Beat No.66 ...is boring, plus artists can kind of catch on quicker to a titled beat.

pushing an artist toward having a concept for a song based on the title of your beat is a GOOD thing imo.

I try and pick a name that relates to the vibe of the beat, usually something I would rap about if I was writing to it. Many times artists use the same name of the beat for the song.

Final name: นี้เป็นชนะ (This is a beat or This is a win)

I try to name mine but if I can't I'll name them sequential numbers. 1-20ish then I'll start over on the next batch.
