im buying my first piece of real hardware tomorrow.but im trying to decide wether to get an emu mp7 with a hardware sampler or an mpc 1000.both have pads so thats nice.i like the mp7 cause it comes with sounds, already has plenty of outs for tracking, and lots of knobs for tweaking and such wich would be great for doubling as a midi controller for my software.but one thing holding me back is no sampling, igot to have sampling capabilities.so ithought just add a hardware sampler like one of the emus.i feel this would be a great setup.now on the other hand i like the mpc 1000 as well has multiple outs, nice sequencer, and most important sampling, usb for drop and drag.i know the 1000 lacks in the sample editing department but i got that covered with soundforge anyways.right now i have an oxy 8 midi controller, reason 2.5,cubase sx2.0,recycle soundforge, and a few vst's,behringer 1604 a mixer ,delta 1010lt souncard, gemini turntables with ion mixer.im leaning towards the 1000 cause the samples will sound thicker and warmer than running them in reason rewired into cubase.any opinions on wich will compliment my setup better?pretty much what it boils down to is i want something that i can work away from the computer or with it
