Monitors and/or floorstanders

Hi all.
I'm currently looking at speakers for my bedroom studio/music listening room and am looking at getting monitors (fostex pm841) for production and floorstanders (dali zensor 5) for general music listening. Its only a small room (3.3m x 1.9m). Am I mad getting two different pairs of speakers? Will one of those do both jobs well or is each individually suited to each job?
