Midi keyboard stopped connecting with FL

Randomly one day my midi keyboard stopped connecting with FL studio. I didn't change any settings, and the keyboard still turns on and plays. The little orange midi box at the top of fl studio still lights up when i hit keys. It just won't play any of my sounds in fl studio any more.

Anybody know what could have went wrong or how i could try fixing it? Only thing im thinking

what is your keyboard?

have you accidentally changed the midi transmit channel on it?

have you changed your midi reception channel from omni to a specific channel on fl - this would still light up the midi in light but not necessarily be recognised further down the processing chain

It's a random casio keyboard that my dad bought for me.

And not that i know of did i change the midi transmit channel or the midi reception channel. Is that all under the Options / system / midi settings?
