Do you use reason3.0?

Yes i just updated to Reason 3.0 but havnt gotten around to configuring the TF with it. Strangely it doesnt appear in the control surface detection of Reason.

Jackin J,
I peeped your site, for house music you should mos def like freakn beats and breaks with the TF. You know where i can get some soulful house. For example house vibes artist like al b sure and other old R&B vocals on house beats.

holla back,
JBM

Well actually I bought a load of sample CDs (refills) for reason and the best one imo are ZERO G and AMG. They may have some of the stuff you are looking for. Right now I am working on some deephouse stuff and trying to get the TF to run with Reason 3.0..........lol

I know have it configured in reason 3.0 and it works perfectly. I am a happy man. Its much better than banging out my beats on the Keystation Pro 88.

thanks for the link. i finally got the TF to work with the FPC. that learn feature did the trick. big ups

since my no sex like latex post got deleted, im forced to ask you should i buy the m' audio axiom 49 key keyboard controller with 8 drum pads? if i buy it, will it work perfectly with fl studio 6? also, how many controllers does fl studio 6 support? i mite get the axiom, a a bunch of sliders and a rotary control. lol.

I'm sure the axiom will work with FL 6. I've never used that device before but I think it comes with a usb port and a midi out so its set to go.

Thanks. That was really helpful info! I was having the same trouble, but changed the device in prefs to "keyboard with controls" and it magically started to work. Now I can start fiddling with it. Thanks again.

I know I'm a bit late but, is there anyone who can help me figure this thing out? I have changed the FPC pads to reflect the TF pads and still I get no sound. When I hit a pad, I can see the midi light signal reacting accordingly on the FL Studio main window, but no sound. What am I doing wrong?

The MIDI notes on the TF differ from those in FL by 2 octaves. So if you set them to match, it's not going to work. Check out the Enigma Group on Yahoo, there's a setup for the TF and the FPC drum machine.

Damn good info, I just got Reason 4 and was thinkin of scrapin the TF to get a keyboard but now I'm stickin to what I've got. Thanks guys

Thank you very much!!!

After reading this tutorial, you know I felt like this:

:sing:

I can't thank you enough. I bought this thing so long ago, tried to learn, got discouraged, and didn't look back until now.

Now, I'm about to make even sicker beats thanks to you telling me how to get this started. It's going down. I appreciate your help!

have a good one,

ive been trying since the beginning of the year

ok so here is my deal.

knock on me for this but i mainly use garageband to make my beats and i use a axiom 25 midi controller. serves my fine.

Now, i got the trigger finger last year for x-mas and even though i tried to use it with garageband, idrums, and even enigma, ive had no luck.

so i got discouraged and just put it away.

Seeing all of you helping each other out. all i want to do i understand and be able to use the TF.

what i want to do is assign each pad to play a diifferent sound. perferably spacey sounds. help me understand....

and what program is the easist to use, for i am a dumb*uck.
