Hey guys. I'm having some trouble with my Akai pro Lpd8. I was setting up for a show today and found that the usb on the controller had fallen out! When i got home i took it apart and saw that it had completely broken off the circuit board and was loose in the device. Any way to reconnect it? is it worth trying to superglue it back in? Any help is greatly appreciated!

superglue won't fix it

- it needs to be soldered back in to make the electrical connections

- find someone who does electronics repairs or take a crash course in reading circuit diagrams and soldering

- you need to do it in such a manner that you don't overheat other parts of the board whilst ensuring that it is heated enough to make the old solder flow and make a new joint for each leg on the connector (you might also need to buy a new connector to replace the broken one)

If it's under warranty or you have an extended warranty from wherever you bought it, you should be able to get it repaired/replaced for free
