Im not feeling the noiseyness of the sample in the beginning. I think the cool part comes in at :33 seconds, it should come in sooner in my opinion. Its still a bit noisey, maybe a bad mix? I like the scratch work and the tom drums and the old school feel of it. Keep at it.

Dope sounds like a west coast meets soul beat. Moreso soulful though. Dope stuff, the intro is a little exaterated but that might give people something to remember too, so could be a good or a bad. This is tough! Some real west coast ishh; my only critique is the sonic quality.

If you could the mix the melodic elements a little bit cleaner and make the drums hit harder, I might have started twisting my fingers haha. Keep it up!

It's not a bad track except the mixing is real bad and it kind of ruins the vibe of the track. Also, it's too short. Not sure if it's just a snippet but if it is don't use snippets because A&R's and label reps hate them. Always put out a full beat. Also, I wasn't feeling the sample in the intro either. Really nice west coast style. But like others have said: intro is terrible (like from cheap 90's disco songs ). And I think this snare doesn't fit here (or you should play with EQ, reverb, etc.).

Overall I dig, melody is good def g-funk inspired and we need to hear more of that today imo. Idk if it's sample or not, dope either way. Wish you had the whole track up tbh.

Drums--Snare is good quality. Kick should hit harder tho, eq it more or layer it. Bass line is solid.

I would lose the voice at the beginning, sound out of place. Nice work bruh.
