Writer, Producer, Music Executive. Everything he TOUCHES goes gold and platinum, and he's been doing it since he was like 15 years old!
JD gets as much respect as Dr. Dre from me.

Especially when some one uses a piano for the bass line, theres tons of songs that do that and they will sound simular too.

I've never been in awe over a JD record, like I would over a Dr.Dre or Timbaland record.
I guess JD is the go to guy for RnB, considering he makes that better than the aforementioned producers.
IDK...JD is JD. Take it how you perceive it.

1994 and I am still in awe of Funkdafied to this day. Classic material. That beat for Jump was crazy for the time too.j.troup said:If you were old enough at the time, you were in AWE over Da Brat's Funkdafied. There was no other choice BUT to be.
He wrote and produced that.

DaFunkDocta said:What? Where's Jermaine's new roster? Not knocking, but the biggest thing he got going right now is Mariah, I'm not aware of any "new" acts he's presented in the last year...I could be wrong.
Unless you're referring to DFB? In that case, my point is proven.
