great way to put it all Motown, everything you wrote is pretty much common sense that people should be using, but usually overlook it. I hope they take what you wrote to heart like I will. stay up

I'm not new to the game, but I definately agree with your rules... Especially the one about buying equipment without having knowledge about what it can do and what u want it to do... I made that rookie mistake when I first started and ended buying a $1,000 keyboard that I didn't even need lol.
 
No, only one commandment. Make it loud and keep it unmuddy.

Ok, that's two. Equipment will sort itself out if you have a modicum of common sense. If you don't, just buy a guitar and do live acoustic renditions of ludacris tracks. Simple.
 
I am so glad that I have read this whole way through.
Thank you so much you have opened my eyes to the truth. I mean I think of this more as a religion than anything else infact i feel almost like a DJ monk. So I will use these as my true rules thank you. :)
