I almost picked it up, but then I realized that it was protected by a dongle. What a shame. I'm sick of these software protections that punish the user. I dislike the internet registrations types almost as much. I picked a cheap crappy program recently just to get the samples and when I went online to register it, the registration part of the site was down. Guess what, it stayed down for about 3 weeks. The software allowed me 20 uses before locking itself until I registered it. Well, the registration wouldn't work. I was so pissed about that. The company never returned my emails, even after the site came completely back up, they never responded to my emails about this problem. Their forum at the site was also down so I couldn't even go in there and complain. The software was Storm 3. I know it's the worst piece of crap in the world (It truly is), but I figured at the price I got it for, I'd buy it just for the samples. Once I get all the useable samples out of it, it won't be worth the hard disk space it's wasting. The funny thing is, it's worse than I even thought it was. The ASIO support is a joke. It uses more system resources than any other software I've used so far and it's not like it has some incredibly great synths or anything in it.
