How to make effects for reaktor?

Making synths is easy but ive noticed the effects arent effects they synths so...it's not in the manual not the synthesizing cookbook.

The reaktor tutorials show you how to make them but im trying to find a book that explains why and how these effects are possible.

you probably want to have a look a the wizoo book for synthedit - it covers a range of fx and synths using the same building block architecture as reaktor

(that is the problem of trawling fp and using old links that once worked without double checking them)

ps this book used to cost $20 but is now free as it is deemed to be out of date - the concepts are still valid but the version referenced in the book is one back from the current
