learnin one of them instru midi devices would cut down the beat-making process considerably.Think about it, learning some scales, maybe some synthesis, having sample chops laid out weeks in advance.
You don't even have to make the beats right when you get your sound you could just save em to your drives and just keep building up synth after synth, samples after sample and when it came down to it you'd be like [I am so ready] after a while you'd have a 4gb library of handmade sounds off the bat :/
