I am not going to get into specifics of genetic deformities, because we all know there is a proven genetic basis for a multitude of illnesses/afflictions.

It is really a shame that science education in america is so lacking that science to people seems like a new strange religion as opposed to testable theories built over ages of expiramentation. ( this not directed at you per se)

I hear you. You dont have to explain the jist of it. I understand.

My family is from Europe where education is something valued far more then most american schools. I know that with the large amount of small football communities in the states they believe in God and look at science as the devil. However I look at science as the study of God and his plan.


Im pretty logical and maybe thats why I believe in God. I know science and its molecular cell reasonings. But I still believe. Some just believe but ive studied both sides(I was a believer before anything) and came to terms that for me its far more logical in the end to believe in God.

that's why it's called a faith. i'm not the dumbest block on the chimney. but i just tried christianity for myself. i asked God for help when i needed it. and he helps me. i dont need to insult him by requiring him to punch an evidence card so i can show people. the funniest thing is that it's a natural thing for a man to doubt. in the bible jesus said it himself that he did miracles infront of people's faces and STILL not believed on him as the Son of God. so years down the road we have "tales in a book" and that works even less effectively by theory but...some people are still believing.


the bible has a written "great commission" given to the "bible thumpers" and it is that we are to Go into ALL the world and PREACH the gospel. there is no "convince" in that statement. there is only tell. when we try to prove and convince is when we get out of touch with what we were called to do when we accept christ as our lord. i'm not here to convince. if you make an off base statement i'll chime in with an occassion of correction. i will not offer proof of anything because God aint tell me to do that.


think of me as a child in my faith, i'm not offended. ..much.

Yeah that is the answer in my book. Its when pride to prove your right really strays you away from the job.

Faith that is the number one thing. Its really all about faith no matter how much you know.

Who are you to judge for God? The evidence (EVIDENCE not FAITH) has been placed on the table many, many times before. Why do you think that religion isn't taught in school? There is no solid evidence that what is taught in the bible is the truth. The only anti-christ is science and common sense...cause with it you can proove Jesus was just a man who sat differently, Dissappeared for 20+ years while he seduced hookers with his "son of god" line that works so well in bars. Mary Magdalen is the thorn of crowns that binds Christianity to blind faith...your god was *gasp*...human....
