guitar for pop/edm beats?

Hello all, I'm looking to add more guitar to my pop and edm beats. I have a few questions and would love to hear from you guys! 1st, how to professional producers such as tiesto or afrojack for example get their guitar? Do they record someone playing the guitar? Do these use premade guitar loops? Or are there guitar VST's involved? 2nd, how can I get some nice guitar riffs suitable for current pop and edm type beats? Are there some nice guitar vsts or should I be looking for loops? I'm interested to hear, thank you in advance!

guitar is one of those things that can be successfully mimicked but only if you already play and know how to tweak the libraries to do it (imho)

for real projects I will play guitar for myself, so I do not need to dabble in loops

others here at fp will gladly play on your track for a fee or a cut, depending on what contribution they are expected to make
