I couldnt find the old thread, so lets keep this thread running, I know alot of presets big producers use. For example:

Motif

That synth preset-"Big Lead"

Used in:

Boss-Rick Ross by cool and dre
Deepside- Lets make love remix by mysto and pizzi
In ya face- Ebony eyes by trackboyz
G-man tv-Waffle iron by mysto and pizzi


The organ sound from the runners everybody wanna know:
"Early Bird" from a motif

Used in:

Hustlin Rick Ross
Where my money Rick ross
Where the cash at Currency
Bonafied Hustler Lil wayne ft juelz santana
Birthday Florida


Scott storch flute is from the motif preset called sweet flute

Collipark drums on ms new booty and play is from the hard kit on the motif

the main melody in Mim's "this is why I'm hot"

is "Orbitsine" lead preset from the Motif ES

8ball/Mjg "dont want no drama" and the joint with Lloyd use that "Flangefilt", "PulseWound", "TrncHook", and "Big Lead" synth lead from the Motif, they are layered or hit at diff times

Rick Ross "Blow" has the "Free LFO" synth lead patch from the Motif ES

theres a bunch of other ones...
 
Kanye clap on countless songs (New workout plan, addiction, Jin's I gotta love) is from the shakers preset on the proteus 2000. Also that drum break you hear at the beginning of drive slow is from the proteus 2000
 
That new Shop Boyz track "Party Like a Rockstar"...pretty much that whole song is the "Charan Lead" from the motif ES lol

danja on turn up the bump took drums off of hip hop ejay(believe or not) ;)

oh yea. Im positive that organ the runners use is from a motif all day.

And the rain fx u hear on make it rain, is from the motif, I think the preset is called storm.

the trance synth on way i are (timbo shock Value) is from the preset on the SH-201 for real!!!
 
That big kick along with the lil synth hit thingy before the clap on E-40's "tell me when to go" is from the "Swing Hop" kit preset (keys C3 and E3) on the Emu Proteus 2000. the clap from "hey papi" and "raise up" is from the "Phatassassin" kit preset (key A5) also on the Proteus 2000. found it completely by accident going through this Proteus X2 lol

I'M From New York - Ja Rule - Cool & Dre uses the synth Big Drone from Motif
 
I dislike these threads only for the fact that everyone has their own opinion. Synths often sound the same and can be reproduced so its hard to say where the sound actually came from. For instance, the Kurzweil K2600 has Variable Architecture Synthesis Technology (V.A.S.T.) and has the ability to emulate just about every synthesizer ever created.

PERC_SteelDrum_C5.wav in the folder: Packs/Percs
HIT_2.wav in the folder: Packs/Hits

The key is C Minor, if there is any lol, the notes played on the percussion are C, G and Ab

Ok man,why do we have to argue in the boy's thread.The synth in the intro you posted has nothing to do with usher's burn.It is not even similar to it.Now you're going to make me post example of the song and the patch from the fantom.It is exactly the same.

On Britney Spears "Gimmie More". The little fx you hear on the hook is from the oddity synth vst. Also, T-Pain's bartender wurly is the "Sweetness" preset on the motif. Also the whole tell me when to go by E-40 song sounds are from the proteus 2000/pop rom on the "Swing Hop" Preset except the 808 clap.

Im just curious, does anyone know any more presets Timbaland or Danja used from Software/Hardware. I stumbled across the gimmie more patch awhile back.:hello:
