Rihanna's Umbrella uses the drum loop from logic called something like vintage funk drums 03. they didnt change anything for the drums.. just straight loop, they only added synth work. still a beautiful song though.

nexus' voice > vocoderpad with no reverb sounds pretty close to that high pitched bell like synth on the chorus of trey songz - wonder woman and im pretty sure there are more i just havent been looking for them, that one just stood out to me.

Btw, I sat down with a Fantom today, and I found the intro sound for Usher - Burn in the Synth FX folder, and the snap for Ying Yang Twins - Wait in the hip hop kit 1

In the intro of Beat "Nightmares" by J.Troup he uses a preset on the Roland Fantom Called alienfx or something...lol

the VST is "Arabian Music Industry".

you buy some arabian music CDs from these bargain-sales and use them.
you don't have to use cracks or copyprotection, you just slap drums over it and run with it.

I'm pretty sure that's a different sound. In that track it sounds like he used the same synth that he used for ginuwine pony, that belchy bass sound, which is very different that the sound in delay lama

ye actually, on the triton theirs a preset that has that same kinda sound on it so it could be that...
