External hard drive for mac

Whats good fp, does any one have any suggestions on a decent hd, for my plug-ins. Dont want to lose performance on my mac and its already slowing down from logic, maschine and trillian. Looking to get nexus and omnisphere and i dont want to put them on my macs drive. Thanks in advance.

go to newegg, find the USB2 or FW external drives and pick one. At this point they're all going to take care of your needs.

Hi, If you can support USB 3, I just picked up a Seagate 2TB USB 3 (ten times faster than USB 2) hard drive for $153 AU. It's Mac or PC happy and works a treat for backing up my 2 x 1TB internal drives.

I would recommend a "WD My Book", ive had my for about a year now and it works perfect with my macbook pro.

Except they are packed with the green caviar drives which are prone to going to sleep when you don't want them to....
