Hey FP,

I've been trying with some new sounds and experimenting with new things (heavily influenced by illmind)

This is my short take on what i suppose is called Boom Trap, it is unmixed and very much in the beginning stages but please tell me what you think.

all feedback will be returned within 48hrs just leave your link for me.

thanks.

I won't comment on the mix yet, but as for the overall track, I think it sounds pretty cool. My biggest suggestion is it needs a lot more variation. I think you can use another synth at that part that starts at 0:44 just so that it doesn't sound like a repeat of the part that played before it.

Also, I know it was unmixed so this isn't a criticism at all, but I found it pretty funny how much headroom your bass was taking up just looking at your waveform haha. Looking forward to hearing the finished version of this man!

I'd appreciate your feedback on my latest track:

I think you've got something interesting going on here... IMO, the biggest problem with the 'boom-trap' genre is that it's a bit too weird to be rapped over generally, and it's a bit too simple to be fully engaging as an instrumental... that being said, I think you did a nice job with the boom trap thing... your track is more rappable than instrumental, which I think is a good thing... I think the synths during the verse section will come to life with some effects processing (use some bit crushing, some delays, some widening on the low synth, some EQ, some compression, etc...you'll get it there)...
