Is there a way to make it so i dont receive an email everytime someonse posts in a thread i posted in?

Go to your user control panel aka settings
On the left hand side there are two boxes with links in them
In the lower box click on "general settings"
The third option is your subscription settings: choose the option you prefer (weekly e-mail, daily e-mail, e-mail every time, CP only, do not subscribe, etc)
Scroll down to the bottom of the page
Save and never have the problem again
