Can't say he's hatin'. Those are his opinions. Funny how Dj's want to stir the pot by asking those types of questions.

In Drakes short time, he's already been on more HIT records than DMX has been on in his entire career. They don't rap the same / aren't in the same lane... so I can see Drake not being a fan of his either.

I don't get the allure of DMX. I mean he raps hard... but ain't hard, (it seems). He backed out of an MMA match against some manager. So much for the tough guy image. DMX - The toughest man in any studio booth. At one point I was a DMX fan but then his beats got too NY for me. Swizz mostly.

Coolio agreed to take his spot in the MMA match on like one weeks notice... Coolio is bout it, I guess.

If you go to the breakfast club for an interview, your pretty much asking to get a beef started up they do that all the time. But yeh I dont think dmx can make a comeback. I'm still a big fan of him but something is telling me he's not gonna comeback as hard as he did before. And also I think he needs to stop with the tough guy image too lol. He just does that portray a street thug because thats what he raps about, I mean he grew up in the hood but he's not really about that lol.

I don't think there's a style of music out now that can make DMX hot again. People are going to focus on his past and background, it's going to overshadow his music. It's not right but... that's what people do. Sort of like it's going to be "uncool" to rock with a person with as many problems as X.

It's not like he was doing hardcore stuff and went in and then got out. Dude was a crackhead that was cruel to animals... I don't know if that's thuggin' or not, lol.

He reminds me of when Kevin Hart talks about his Uncle that said "You ready to go night! night! nucca!" lol.

I want him to do well but he probably should've just declined to answer those questions if he wanted to rebuild his public image and get any kind of support. Sounds haterish (translation = perception of a negative opinion on something that doesn't affect you)

What Drake has done is what hip hop was totally against back in it's hardest era. That's what people don't like about Drake. A rapper..........who sings his own hooks......sings a whole song.....all emotionally..........and it gets called great hip hop? And the fact he is overrated adds fuel to that. PM Dawn had good songs........they should could out now.

It puts hardcore rappers from the past in a messed up situation because if they change people are going to hate them, and if they remain the same people will feel it's outdated. Most definitely. With a Swizz beat and (NO GOT DAMN FEATURES)!!!!! I don't recall any songs that were hits by DMX featuring another artist on them. I was just thinking the same thing the other day, what if timbaland was like james makes the corniest beats ever I dont know how I would feel lol. But yeh I think dmx just comitted a career suicide lol. If he signed with mmg he would sell hella records.
 
people underestimate ross ability to put an album together, he got a dope ear.. i like what hes done for the artist on his roster
