here's the rub - if he was on parole, he should have been thinking more clearly - the whole point of parole is to give you a chance to prove that you don't need to spend your life in prison, do something stupid and the law requires you to go back and finish up the time you should have done - it might suck, but it is not an unreasonable situation to find yourself in if you break the conditions of your parole, just ask keef.
