chord progressions, help

Hi guys,

I am still a bit new to chord progressions etc. I have a couple of questions regarding chord progressions. My first question is this; what are the chord progressions for these two songs? Could someone put them in a way, if i were to play them on a piano.

Cant help u the songs but bandcoach has got a website with lots of theory on!
Try a book called music theory for computer musicians aswell! :-)
 
Not sure if in White Noise by progression You mean:

- Main melody, which goes like this? (120bpm)

- 0:48 and 0:56 bass that is A#0 note?
- 1:04 high pitched which goes from C4 to D#4?
- 1:20 low pitched which goes same as above, but 2 octaves lower?

the first song is in the key of F major....and the main bassline is going in 5 notes ascending on you r key board its going F G A C then back to F, thats your bassline...it's just doing a little arpeggioe and landing on the root note of F

the second song is in D major and it's basically when he starts singing up high theres the tension and that would Amajor chord.....then the relax back down to the Dmajor chord it's the chilled part....it's just going back and forth really......between those two.... then sometimes on the G major chord in between,,,, so for your purposes the rnb song...remember this pattern......relaxed is the root note of the key so Dmajor,,,,then when you want the tension with the singer you go up to the 5th chord which is Amajor in this case....then in between on the 4th chord sometimes....it's like a typpical blues pattern 1 4 5,,,,but it's mostly just 1 and 5 n this.....very relaxed....for bass it goes from the bass note 4 5 then 1 goin up....
 
I always feel troubled when I am part way through doing something like this and folks start posting partial and incomplete transcriptions and use wishy washy phrases to cover their own lack of ability

I will say now that the available on-line chord progressions for these are wrong, because they are ignoring the use of chords borrowed from outside the main key center
