Cheap soundproofing

Just want to say that while that may be a cheap solution, foam used for furniture is not suitable acoustically and is typically not fire rated and so it can be quite flammable. Would not recommend using any materials that aren't tested and ensured to be safe.

Not only what has been said above, but foam is treatment, not sound proofing - sound proofing requires that you build structure within structure so that the interior is decoupled from the exterior.

Stop being cheap and actually do some research first and you will realise that no shortcut will get you there.....

Yea you wont get the results you are looking for unless you spend a little money. ATS acoustics usually has some deals on some quality sound insulation.
