It's the first "real" turntable BST makes. They're PR96, 106 and 136 where total sh*t (but the 136 was the first with an LCD though). Wobly platters, bad pitch etc.
But now they have been taken over by Ultrak. Ultrak has big bux. Big bux are usually good for making better equipment (not always like that BEWARE).
This one has far more better stability of the platter. It has a LCD screen too, and a second start stop button for installing it in battle position. They even pretend to have 2.6 kg/cm torque (that would be the highest), but frankly, it's not THAT big.
If I would rate this TT, I'd say it comes close to the Numark Pro TT2.

By the way, the 336 has been used in a big scratch competition in France. Didn't hear any complaints (yet?).

I own the bst pr 136. Now while it is not of the same quality of my Tech m3ds it is not that bad. The build is cheap, alot of plastic, but what is really good about this table is the torque. I would say it is very close to my Tech's. My only worry is getting parts for this because there are new owners.

Yup, sadly craig is right. A friend of mine owns a Bdt Hife 16 (I think), and something is screwed up at his phones output. He took it back to the shop, and is already waiting for some months for a replacement part, without success. The fact that the European seige of BST was in Belgium, and that it moved to France when BST was bought buy Ultrak has some influence here, but it's safe to ask if replacement parts are no problem in the future.
