Software sequencing is software sequencing...so sure...but to get it back into the SP-606 from the computer it has to be bounced down to a stereo track. ;) Otherwise, you are still stuck with the 4 track sequencer...which is not bad...every unit comes with its own sequencer these days.

Someone making hip-hop tracks using a mpc1k tell me you use all 64 tracks...please.
 
the 606 has 2 minor flaws, the seq, and the amount of notes at one time, but u can work around all of that, if people acn make heat on a 505 or 303, then they should make some CRAZY ass tracks with this

Eight voices on the unit, unlimited if you use software and mix your tracks to stereo...I am not a software user, but the 606 will stll end up in my set-up for live sets...
 
im not a supporter of software, but the 606 appeals to me, so im going to give it a shot
 
JPeg, I'll mos def get a beat up to post, but it won't be soon. My computer is all sorts of unstable (I'm messaging from the job now). I actually just went and bought Cubase SL last night, though. I've been meaning to get my computer straightened out (no Internet access at all right now) and I figured that would motivate me. So, once I get my OS re-installed and the new software in, I'll put something up.
