In the new school, there’s no such thing as “biting”, it’s about getting a check. That’s what I hate about the game. The whole creative side is not here anymore. There’s not a lot of people who make you want to go home and turn your machine on when you have listened to their music. A lot of people that you hear out here, you are thinking that you are hearing one person and it is somebody totally different and it’s OK.

The average fan or the average consumer, they don’t really care about who got what from who. That’s not their concern. If the record is hot, it’s all they care about.

I’m not going to do something because everybody else is doing it.

FINALLY somebody steps up and calls some shyt out...

WAY MORE hip hop artists and producahz need to be speaking out...calling out violators...

the phucked up thing about the game is like dog said...the "ends justifyinig the means"; in other words: BITING FOR A CHECK

don't try to EXPOZE other dudes in an interview with NOBODY.
in other words...NEVER CALL OUT VIOLATION...JUST KEEP IT MOVING WITH A FOCUS MORE ON "BUSINESS" THAN "MUSIC"???...if I'm following correctly...

Win how could u put Roger Troutman and Quincy Jones in a list full of hiphop producers? U could do all hiphop or all non-hip, but 2 make the list like that was confusing. Also Storch is from Philly and Redd is from Cali.

I didnt say we had 2 box ourselve in 2 one genre, u wrote atleast 40 hip hop producers, and two producers outside of the genre which doesnt make sense. Plus most of Scott Storch also did 4 albums with Roots. If you wanna add producers from other Genres why dont you add Prince, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Andre Cymone, Norman Whitfield, Marvin Gaye, Rick James, Elton John, George Clinton, James Brown, etc... and why didnt u just make a thread instead of posting it in this one????

Spike Lee's She Hates Me? Great movie. That concept was morally conflicting and didn't look enjoyable whatsoever, but ended well.

Rude was a great site until it went to a paid format.

LOL man chill.

I'm already on my own dick, there's no room for you, so please stop hanging from my balls. LOL jk

But did u even read my post?

I said, "somebody start it up, i know i left out some", and i put "etc" after every category which means "and so on"

therefore i wanted someone else to start the thread cuz I'm a tad bit lazy, and i said i left some out cuz I don't know every producer and where they are from and i would like to I'm a hip hop/rnb beatmaker and would like to increae my knowledge...i never said my list was right and final.... SO ADD TO IT! lol

And i never said u were boxing it in one genre, I just said dont do it, referring us as "ourselves" being anybody who post some producers after me

knowledge is free right? society makes u pay for ignorance.

EDIT: oh yea as for storch he was a "keyboardist" for the Roots, he wasn't a mainstay near the top of the charts as a producer until after 2003, during this time he was a MIA resident

But don't take this literally or personally or in spite. Im just super bored

:hello:

Blud in the building!

well Aaron Hall isn't really getting interviews period, but I'm sure he did have an issue at first at least, sometimes its biting, but wehn you progress from that, that's more of an influence, like how people will say Grandmaster Caz to Big Daddy Kane to Jay-Z, they were influenced by the one before them but came into their own eventually ... I sample a lot, I'm the type of person that'll hook up a loop, and they say 'hmm this sounds like some Mobb Deep" and then try to figure out what it is that gives it that Mobb sound, and then experiment, try to figure out what other things gives something a different tone, and then once you know the language, you can express your own thought, but even in English class, you study the works of others, and for practice, you write in different literary styles

People will make whatever the f*ck they want, so shut it.
