Bink never blew up because he didnt have a brand point blank. Just Blaze got smart and starting Branding himself to the point that you actually felt he created the styles of tracks he was doing. When Just Blaze was clapping on every beat, young producers would say "I need that Just Blaze Clap" and all I could really think was hmmm, You mean that clap that sounds awfully close to the clap Battlecat been using since the late 90s? Its branding at its finest. Bink aint mad, its just that older cats have more respect for the artform and see biting another hip hop producers sound as an offense. Today we are so money driven that we sacrifice creativity and originality for a check.

When you're talking about SAMPLING, any and all talk about originality and biting is rendered NULL AND VOID, because you're using someone elses music...not just biting their STYLE, but you're JACKING THEIR ENTIRE COMPOSITION!
And yeah, if memory serves me correctly, not everything Bink did was completely sampled. But still...
He sounds mad. That's like Crest being mad at Colgate because they make toothpaste too.
Just Blaze had the good sense to GET THE RIGHT MANAGEMENT, thereby SOLIDIFYING THE RIGHT RELATIONSHIPS in order for him to be on the right projects, to rise to the top...
Just Blaze conducted the right BUSINESS, and Bink just made BEATS.
That's what it boils down to.
This is a BUSINESS. And now Bink is mad because Just Blaze did better BUSINESS than he did, and now JB is a household name, and BINK is just a sound a baby's toy makes.
So instead of sitting here talking about who bit who, let this be a lesson in handling your BUSINESS. Because this CLEARLY illustrates that handling your BUSINESS CORRECTLY is way more important than BEATS.
I'm handling my BUSINESS. Y'all can talk about who's style I bit all y'all want to, while I'm cashing my checks.

Bomb Squad's style of sampling was totally different from Marley Marls style of sampling for example. There are some obvious differences in the production from DJ Premier and Alchemist. There are some obvious differences in the way Dilla sampled compared to Sir Jinx. Madlib's sampled work sounds totally different from NOID's sampled work.Eric Sermon's sampled ideas sound totally different from DJ Muggs sampled ideas. Just because someone samples doesnt mean they are not being creative or original in how they approach it. Thats a real ignorant thing to say. If there was no originality in sampling all of the music from the late 80s and 90s would have sounded exactly the same. Lets be realistic here, that statement comes off as if you are not a student of Hip Hop music, which is fine because you dont have to be. But if you want to make a statement about Originality in Hip Hop music and sampling atleast make an educated one. What Just Blaze bit was Bink's approach to sampling in that era. Listen to how Just Blaze programmed his drum, listen to how just blaze started doing the "Blazette's" stuff that sounded strikingly similar to Bink's approach with the way he would freak the live drums and bass guitar.
