What are bars????

Like 32 bars???

I usually structure my songs by how many snares hit.


Usually 24 or 32 snare hits I consider for the verse depending on the tempo

BUT WHAT ARE BARS??? :/

the word bar is the European form of measure

in either case they are direct manifestation of the time signature which tells you how many beats and what note is the beat type per bar/measure

so 32 bars in 4/4 means a total of 128 beats or 64 snare hits on beats 2 and 4

in your examples that would mean you are working with 12 bar or 16 bar structures
