I'm making a soundclick page.
ROFL!!!!!
Good question. I don't see it as a competition if I don't enter where everybody else enters. What seperates the producers from the beatmakers is the ability to make a good song. How do you make good songs? By making as many as possible. Grab some pellas, holla at a few rappers, vocals are an instrument, too. Just something for a couple of folks below me to think about.
Good thread.
I'm just working. Getting as many rappers on my beats as possible. Each rapper has friends and followers that don't necessarily overlap. Spreading the seeds.
It helps that I have a thriving scene to draw from in my town as well as being the center of the industry.
I can't imaging doing this in the boonies.
so true...but to those who dont give a rats ass about music outside of those amazing lease dollars its the easiest fastest way to make moneyJust doin me. The problem is everyone is a copycat of everyone else these days. I mean we all take aspects from each other. But to totally copy someones style is whats gonna make you blend in with the crowd
