Are white producers making Hip Hop better?

and to answer the thread title, no. maybe a particular white producer makes hip hop better, but not all of them.

it's like asking "5 feet 5 inch tall producers makes hip hop better?".

this is going nowhere.

Originally, it was supposed to be about people that more or less grew up on other genres getting into Hip Hop and is it making Hip Hop sound more "wide ranging" due to the influence behind the people that get in from other genre's. I think I even mentioned people that listen to a variety of music vs. people that only listen to Hip Hop. That got lost somewhere, lol. I don't even know what's in this thread anymore.

I started it because a guy had a vid on here of him going to a meeting and his songs sounded good. Then some response vid popped up... and things went downhill from there, lol.

Just a web topic, it's not that serious.

this mindset would make me laugh. not because i'm white, but this is simply bs.

Endless subject.

it is an "endless subject".

but @ the end of the day, FLIPPING THE SCRIPT, if the industry truly is ran by masons and other conspirators, BLACKS are the "best" weapon to use against other blacks.

just a different way to look at stuff...ya know?

I got that. It's a more interesting subject, so maybe the title is misleading a lil'bit. Since hip hop is basically created from other genre's material (=sampling), it can be only a good thing if someone comes from an other genre, or knows an other one.

I got what you say. I just don't know. I'm not really into conspiracy theories but maybe I'm completely wrong.

ALSO...

hip hop is parallel w/ "the cause". the cause is parallel w/ blacks & minorities.

this shyt is about more than just "entertainment".

whites may not respect hip hop as an EDUCATIONAL TOOL...and on top of that, how many blacks would be "receptive" to a white, hip hop "messenger"? delivering USEFUL, RELEVANT, UPLIFTING / ENLIGHTENING information?

it just seems like a white person can never become an "insider" w/ hip hop; therefore, their message capacity / integrity is limited.

for example, what can a white person tell a black person USING HIP HOP as the media of communication that will seem REAL, AUTHENTIC & USEFUL to blacks?

i.e., could a white man deliver this same message to a black man?

[video=youtube;<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="https://www.youtube.com/v/O4o8TeqKhgY&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="https://www.youtube.com/v/O4o8TeqKhgY&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>]video[/video]

or even this one?

Music wise, yes. Lyrical wise, maybe to a few, but most definitely not to all. Within that few that listen, they will relate and forget that was a white dude rapper, the rest would be on some, "what that white boy know about that'' or they haven't seen what that white dude talkin bout and ''asume'' that he's speaking fiction.

F or Deaf - To answer your question, I don't know? But I would hope that anyone would listen to someone who had a relevant message regardless of all of that? I honestly don't get how skin color has any relevance at all to any of this? If it does, then its the person who makes it an issue that will ultimately loose in the end. The only thing people should ask themselves when listening to a message is if the person giving the message knows what they are talking about and if their "message" is going to educate, enlighten or somehow make a difference to them. PERIOD!

On that note I am out of here! This conversation (like any other on this topic) is veering outside the navigational lines, IMHO!

to tell you the truth man, skin color VALIDATES MESSAGES.

If that's the truth for you or anyone else, that's sad! I respect you for at least coming with your real thoughts and not some politically correct bullsh!t! However, I just think that until all of that is gone, we can never truly have racial equality!

Just my $.02!

racial equality!

on the real, we'll never have "racial equality".

i mean, we're all "even" by gods standards, we are all his children, but as far as MAN, man is too selfish and corrupt for there to ever be "racial equality"

i mean, "racial equality" means so many DIFFERENT THINGS to DIFFERENT PEOPLE.

do you not understand that some people would argue that we ALREADY HAVE RACIAL EQUALITY NOW, BECAUSE THERE IS A BLACK MAN IN THE WHITE HOUSE???

Again, to me that is simply not good enough! Having a black man in the White House is progress, but not racial equality! I do think this country has come a long way though? I remember people saying that a Black President would never get elected and one did.

In the end, talking about it is good, but I think its sad to simply give up and say this won't happen because of this or that! I just can't give in that easily!

White peeps got Production on lock. But lots of mc's gotta give it up and adopt a fresh style. Lotta white boys are sounding the same to me. Hey does anyone like slug from atmosphere?

White peeps got Production on lock.

well there you have it.

and arguably, Eminem is the best rapper alive...so, it's lookin' like "the man" got hip hop COVERED - from the mic, to the beats, to the offices...RIGHT?
