Are white producers making Hip Hop better?

i think producers with diverse musical taste along with musically skill are amongst the best when it comes to hip hop...and it happens to be people like j r rotem...etc
 
a lot of ya'll seem to forget that HIP HOP MUSIC was made AS AN OUTLET for kids that COULDN'T AFFORD MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS AND / OR TRAINING.

this shyt is straight from the streets...and ya'll tryin' to act like muthafukcas is supposed to come out of Juilliard or some shyt - THEN into the hip hop game.

all ya'll are basically sayin' is that BLACK PEOPLE DON'T KNOW SHYT ABOUT "REAL" MUSIC, so we are gonna just take this shyt, mix it w/ our ACTUAL music, and "improve" it by DILUTING it.

EVERYBODY SEEMS TO HAVE FORGOT THAT THIS SHYT CAME FROM THE FUKCING STREETS.

Well i'd only put one white guy in my top five and that is alchemist. And eminem really is the only good white rapper I never seen another white rapper as good and consistent as him.

timberland not even close to being top three if you consider all qualtities of a producer ie. Diversity, Rapper Mixing, Legacy and the ratio of wack to good track.

This has officially become one of the most retarded threads Ive seen within the past several months. 25 pages of halfass theories about the correlation between race and music? Please...

Why don't you understand that it has nothing to do with race, and everything to do with culture? If the culture you grew up in supported a diverse range of music genres, then you're probably going to be well rounded musically. Conversely, if your culture had/has a typically limited ear for music, then you're probably going create music within those conventional limitations.

So anyone not belonging to the culture with the limited musical focus is probably going to bring something new to the table, as far as innovating a genre.

one thing that I think is stupid is when some white ppl go out there way to try and validate how 'down' they are..fuk that..just keep it moving..yes some of the hottest new producers so happen to be white..this 'white man,black man,who's better at what,we're just as street,we can dance too' is bullshyt
