I liked the emotional quality of this piece a lot. You could accentuate it more by having a bit of a longer buildup. It's important to pay a lot of attention to pacing if you're trying to evoke pathos in the listener. You've got to ease 'em in to it. Your mix sounds like it could use some work to me, as well. Your drum samples sound a little uninspired and dry. They don't really feel like they exist in a space to me so much as being thrown over top of the piece. Keep at it, I enjoyed your piece.

I agree with CO))RVUS, drum sounded a little uninspired and dry. I think you can put a few orchestra instruments, to make that beat full. Try that, see how it works

Nice beat! But I think the drums could be mixid a bit better (more powerful). And I would choose another bass for the bassline.
