Ice boy telling the truth about soundclick

Rome it's marketing, he just doesn't know how to properly go about it. His speech/accent/presentation is off and comes across more as ghetto than professional. I couldn't believe the ****ups in some of his videos but i do believe that he is genuinely interested in helping others out.

When you're selling something or trying to have people listen to you, you must open up your speech by introducing the "enemy". In this case the "enemy" is "the producer that is lying to the public about his sales". His goal was to position himself as the "hero". Subconsciously he's telling people, "these guys are lying to you and misguiding you, and i am here to save you... so join my Producers Firm".

That's all it is. It's not a bad thing but if he wants people to join his firm or w/e he really needs to package himself in a more professional manner.

Yeah, if he knows his market is other aspiring producers, they may let those vids fly but if he's ever going to try to expand... he's going to have to clean up his act a little bit.

It only came off ghetto because he wasn't taking his time. Anybody can slow down and pronounce words or practice a few times before they record themselves. It seemed as if he wanted to do it off the cuff... BUT! I can't pay for that, lol.

Woo me with some professionalism... I work hard for my cheese. I mean the word "business" alone means "sell me something... go ahead... sell it to me..."

He didn't achieve that in those vids. He should watch them again, type what he really meant to say... print it out, tape it to the camera and read it back to the camera, lol. Barack and the teleprompter type ish. If the President can do it, Ice Boy can do it. <<< ---- that should be in there somewhere.

I know people who brought all of his courses and haven't sold a damn thing

From what I've seen on his videos, he knows what's up. I haven't bought the courses but I bet they at least have a decent amount of good info in them.

Sometimes it's not the teachers fault, but the lazy ass students.

Okay, after viewing his youtube, I call bullshyt.

How you the highest paid producer on soundclick and you can't get past 200 views on ANY of ur vids? Why aren't your beats in rotation like Superstar/JJ/Vybe/ect? How u got any degree in business and don't know all this stuff you doing is bad looks from every ethical business standpoint?

As I said before, $300 a day can make you 6 figures in a year. If you on ya grind, thats 2 $150 exclusives a day with days off annually. If you also sell leases that makes it easier. If you also collect royalties and hit major artists with beats from time to time, that makes it easier. If you've properly positioned yourself, these type tasks aren't unrealistic at all, anyone with "business sense" shouldn't be oblivious enough to this to try to call "someone out" from what looks like a B.S. apartment.

He used to get thousands of views but image line made him take off all his tutorials, talkin about some copyright bs smh. He got 20,000 views on one video. He decided to start all over again a make a new channel. He was paying his bills with exclusives back when he had his site up before, he was living off beats. But then business got slow then he got a second job and decided to go offline and was selling pretty good now he's back on soundclick. And yep thats an apartment

who needs to sell beats when you got a bunch of suckers willing to pay big money on advice on how to sell beats.

JESUS! Drew!

they're kids in here.

White Hot Pro got a dose of karma or something. Used to talk pure ish to people, lol. That Ace Hood CD got thrown in the blender on Hoodhype.com's Blend it or Bump it. Too many trap producers I guess.

So he's a business major that doesn't know how to post vids without infringing on copyrights? He's the highest paid producer on soundclick and couldn't get the blessing of image-line(who are very accessable)? Not sure what came of it, but didn't JJ get the rights to image-Line's synth engine for a vsti? Is JJ more of a business man than this guy with his degree?

Let me interject...

All of the answers to University of Phoenix's Online Business Management exams can be Googled...

I have a degree in anything... doesn't mean what it used to.

There are places that you can actually pay for the answer but most are available on sites like Yahoo! Answers

Back on topic.

there's hella fl studio tutorials still up why did they just decide to go after his

I'll just let the cat out of the damn bag...

Nobody can tell you how to sell beats..

I agree.

IMO most producers slanging products and services to other producers are just trying capitalize on other hungry producers because they've been on the block long enough to see that the beat sales money drying up/shrinking......no matter what they say or how they say it -

they want your money.

So please believe they are going to try and get your trust by telling you what you want to hear....

Bottom line.

Kinda reminds me of that knife selling marketing bullsh*t....beats / Knives....same difference..lol

The successful producers don't kiss and tell...why would they? Whats the incentive?

So you and 5389 other hungry producers can flood out their method...boy, please.....lol

Bottom line...When you run out of everything else to sell...you start selling dreams.

If you gettin money off beats, you ain't thinking about teaching everyone else how to do exactly what you do so they can cut into your salary and make you less of a commodity(especially if you got a degree in business). You can pretend I'm lying all you want.

If anything, I could respect him giving out free info, cause that might just mean he don't care, but WTF is $99 to a nikka with $150 exclusives who is the HIGHEST PAID SOUNDCLICK PRODUCER.

I can blow $99 out of a few swishers in a night. And I don't make shyt off a soundclick. The alibi isn't matching up, lies done started catching up.

And why would image line just go after him when there's guys like um...WARBEATS who have a wider demographic and give tons of videos directed at exact and detailed aspects of utilizing FL Studio with detailed pics and tutorials to go along with it? I'm sure this guy was doing something dumb like reading direct excepts from their "FL Bible"(anyone remember that)?

None of this is LOGICAL.

dang JAMES, the Super Friends of FP done broke the code on ol' Iceberg.

If dude is making so much money, why do the gfx on his two sites look so mediocre? Just saying...

I don't even mean no disrespect to a dude doing what he need to hustle, but same time, it scares me to who's beleiving the hype. Faith in Chaos is an unhealthy thing.

Why can a guy working a dayjob living in an apartment teach you how to be anything more? And on top of that charge? Why does a guy livng in an apartment working a dayjob knock guys who are factually living off their music and put himself above them IN MUSIC?

DOESN'T MAKE SENSE.

Fcuk That!

Its all about...

Dude is taking advantage of the naivety of young, dumb producers.

He was selling alot offline. he doesnt even have to do the youtube stuff as a matter of fact he is offering free consultant. He's giving you his phone number to call him he will check out your beats to see if they're marketable, give you marketing tips etc. This dude just isnt about the money, he was talking to one guy for about 2 hours at no charge.

Do you have proof of this or are you just taking his word for it?
