That Piirpauke record is great! I sampled it one one of my first beats I made.

Don't mind the shitty video, beat could be better too.

edit,

I also sampled something from that Pollution record recently. Lol.

Yep, it's a nice record. Got it for a good price too (and Pollution as well).
You dug the records up in Nepal?

I was mistaken on the Pollution record, the one I have is from an Italian prog band from the 70's.

New Digs from the day after I posted my last vid mainly. I got some more from yesterday and today that didn't make this vid and some coming in the mail that I ordered stay tuned for more. And subscribe to my youtube!

Some nice stuff in there... Yo do you have the Sandy Nelson record with Mystery Boogaloo on it? I don't know which one it's on but I love that break!!

I don't think so the title doesn't sound familiar. I got some nice stuff coming in this week on ebay too. The head hunters survival of the fittest, james brown priority, Stanley Turentine Nightwings, Herbie Handcock's Head hunters album and a few other classic breaks. I just got back from the store with some other stuff too. I think in the past week or so I may have spent at least $200 on records #donttellthewife

I do not have it. Nice cover though

New finds. My regular spots have been a bit dry but managed to find a few nice records.

Piirpauke is Finnish folk jazz.
Walt Rockman's Pollution is a library record on Sonoton label. Ambient/dark ambient, something you could imagine hearing in the background of some 70's scifi movie. There's a long break on it too.

Check out other releases from the LOVE RECORD label (piirpauke). Eg Olli Ahvenlahti – The Poet. Grandmas Rocking Chair or Aura are some pretty good tunes from it.

Yep, I'm up on Love Records, I'm from Finland after all. Plenty of good stuff on that label, one of my favorites at the moment is Pekka Streng's Kesämaa. Olli Ahvenlahti plays on that record too, amongst other great musicians such as Eero Koivistoinen.

Yeah, Finland has some pretty good releases esp in the jazz funk / jazz rock section.

He is like a Spanish rock guy (on guitar). My grandparents have a bunch of his stuff. His older stuff(Like that "Splendid Hotel album ^^ is from 1980) I don't really care for. Just the sound. His older stuff is cool. He in general isn't my style, but definitely has cool tracks. Listening to this track on the "Land of the Midnight Sun" album, Love Theme from "Pictures of the Sea" is cool and Sarabande from Violin Sonata in B Minor is nice. Definitely some samplable stuff too.
