That Carmen Mcre record has some really dope samples on it that I've already used lol
 
It's nice. Limited edition direct to disc recording on white vinyl (audiophile stuff).

 
Finally I found my copy of Peter Herbolzheimer Rhythm Combination & Brass "Live im Onkel Pö" in my favorite 2nd hand record store today . 10 Euro for such a classic recording...what a bargain. :)

Peace all you guys are cool and i enjoy sharing my beat digging adventures with yall... damn almost sound country LOL... Thanks for watching i appreciate it...Now i know some of us have tremendous collections and while it would be nice to peep everyones records out i just want folks to know that this is a fun way to do it as we all can seem to get so caught up in our own thing that sometimes we forget to have fun with it.I have been in this thing for some time and i gotta confess that i still get that feeling when i go digging and come up with some joints that make me say man this was worth it!! because some times you can get bored and need a little motivation ie some random chick/video game /movie/vacation etc.. however for the sake of argument NO I Dont post up all my Diggs ... Just the ones I know maybe some people have but might have paid more than 50 cent!! Yesss this spot is a killer!! and I still have'nt explored the whole thing yet..The 45s are sooo deep infact the first time i touched them I came up with Joe Williams and the jazz orchestra and its Clean as a whistle!!! with a yellow 45 holder in the middle!!! So again this place is a diggers paradise complete with 1200s for you to listen to your joints on..This is just one spot and there are so many more!! you just have to know where to look and pay attention to evertything!!! Now I know some prefer to E digg and thats cool as well but somehow to me digging is like a rites of passage and holds a special meaning in the HipHop Culture as I knew and still know it.. Sure you can just sit at a desk and press buttons but wheres the interaction?? Ok no preaching but just remember one of my old sayings "What is that old saying about bars? People go in and out, but the Liquor stays the same" peace oh yea man shouts to all you guys keep up the good work as i look forward to coming here and seeing what you guys find...peace gilson and xabiton

Nice post Mr. Chris. It sounds like you found a good spot. I haven't had a chance to dig like I used to. Life's been getting in the way. Wedding, moving, bills, etc. I hope things calm down a bit in the next few months so I can get back to it. I think I enjoy the rush and fun of digging itself more than when I've got it home. I should just dig for others. I hope by the time I can get back to digging this thread is not dead. Gilson keep up the posts that wow me with shit I've never seen and X it's time for another Youtube video. Keep the dream alive!

That's up to you. I did that at first but not anymore. I thought about it a while and it's just not that serious to me. 9 times out of 10 I'm not giving away any secrets. No, some people here may not know certain artists but that it's a bigger world than just here. More than likely somebody has it. Now, I'm not gonna rip the album and give it away or anything but posting pictures of what I find is not a big deal to me. Besides, I already found it anyway.

Would this not be one of the illest jobs ever if you dug for big time producers? They just hand you a G, "Get some good shit." Then all the really, really, nice stuff you keep for yourself!
 
hey thanks for the comments I agree as far as sharing because there are no secrets left well maybe a few but not many...Im just from a time when we had to really work hard to find the records or beats as they were considered back then.of course the game has changed and you have to change with the times as im sure most of us who dj dont carry around thier crates anymore..(sad to say ) but i still like the rush as well and the mystery that goes with it..Kind of like man how im going to break this beat...@Mannas life is a MOTHER for sure but never give up the FAITH!! I would say the dream but most of us are doing th damn thing so its not a HOBBY (wives and Girlfriends take note) but more of a way of life and if you have been down long as me or at least full time it's WHO YOU ARE!!! I see a lot of catts in here and like i say just keep up the good work its a great way to make a living and its an awful lot of fun!!! What i did when life was hectic was try and make beats or at least turn the stuff on when i could..Digging and beat making is just like everything else you have to be into what youre doing because as we all know life is full of distractions wether its family/Work/Car trouble/ for my Military brothers "call of duty"health issues/lack of funds etc.. you just have to try and stay focused take care of your biz so you can take care of your beats!! These records are always going to be here you just have to know where to look!!! Hint I dont digg in the obvious places..Most of the time im out I dont run into to anyone looking for what im looking for and thats cool..it would be dope to set up some type of Convention that way folks could meet and greet... I see we have people who digg from all over the world and thats great because if you know a lil bit of history you know that music is everywhere and try as we might i dont think anyone will ever have all the records in the WORLD!!!(not even that old blind dude with a MILLION)!! I also know some people hate and thats only natural but I can assure you that as far as I go Im so HIPHOP right now....I will continue to share and soon will be adding some beat making joints as well so stay tuned and keep digging!! hey i just put up a new vid...PEACE

I thought I was the only one!!!!! I had to let this repeat a few times as I was listening through it. Im trying to find if my dad has anymore from Green bc I might just have to jack the whole collection. My dad had some taste back in his day lol
