since when were records only for sampling? I have a lot of records I just like listening to and would likely never sample. On a side note I dislike digging at thrift stores because the records are generally in bad condition and always thrown in some corner some where. I cant count how many times ive gone to a thrift store to dig found the cover to a great album or even a pricey one any where else only to find it scratched badly and or broken

agree 100% on all that.
still gotta stay checkin the thrifts tho, never know when youll come up. altho with these gas prices its about time for me to eliminate the 2 thrift stops a week

i feel u X but for my sake ive been comming up nasty at thrift spots .. amoeba is my place to score or craigslist a vinly collection for a bill or 2 help now an days it doesnt really matter how u digg as long as u persue ur passion big ups gilly , iwas jus jealous of ur vinyl collection /lol i love vinyl as much as u just dont got the capital 2 spend an time 2 time .. so i jus dig online , plus gas is a mutha almost 5 bucks kills the trips to a minimum..but even thou i'll dig and that an art in its self .. looking for that certain peice of music that inspires ya fell..

. i aint hate i appreciate nice collection gilly .. yeah x gots a nice collection aswell. seen a vid on utube //

a xabition ur the one that inspired me to cop a eps . if you never knew ..

u posted a beat and a sample back last year , cant remember when but , all i remember is the griitty ness .. your thee only person on the net who has mentioned bout haven one an so i had to peep it out myself an i can say it was worth every penny ..

plus i like the lofi grit .. i like it most cause the sound in general reminds me of an emu sp1200.. the lofi grit . other then that it aint no sp 1200 ..

the sequencer is crazy ..dam old equipment dont have a count in metronome..lol jus the metronome

it does have count in metronome it actually goes off until u play into it unless u turn that off. its funny i havent made a beat on my EPS in about a year now. When they announced Reason 5 it made me want to load reason back up and remember what i loved about it. I keep my EPS and my Mpc around because I love both of them but right now its mostly all Reason now.

...I have personally had good experiences at thrift stores, generally a lot of the vinyl you will find there are pretty beat up, but its not uncommon to find good condition vinyl as well

x im jus sprung on fl studio 9 i dont what it is its probably simplicity.. but yeah bout the eps damn its so hard to make a beat on it its ridic u feel me x damn u have to be on point as a diamond cutter for that sequencer .. but the sound is ingenius .. when i make beat on the eps it take like an hour but barely made like 3 tracks wit it .. thats why i jus fl so smooth. peace

It takes time to get used to I guess. I was making beats on it in 20 minutes usually. I didn't do so with software. To me the EPS is the simplist thing I have ever used

Got some random stuff.
