I think most of you on hear make my setup look terrible but it gets the job done at least.

Just upgraded the PC so its running beautifully, thinking of getting an M-Audio MIDI keyboard to replace my chunky Casio, new monitors and two LCD monitors to get rid of the unsightly Samsung SyncMaster550s lol.

For most of us it's a culmination of many years and then for a lot of us we still don't have everything we want

how do you have cable issues on a software rig? Thats way less cables than I had when I was using all of my hardware lol

Temporary setup.....You can actually see my old setup(s) in this same thread:

nice!!!

A couple pics of my basement studio. I switched from a Korg D3200 to a Roland VS2400CD, and
finally got my Fantom X6. I just built the stands for my MPC and Casio RZ-1 using 1/2" threaded pipe
sections and connectors from Home Depot. Not pictured is my mobile DJ shizz (PA, lights, truss, etc)
and all my pics. Next up is to upgrade my DJ mixer, a good mic pre and to build a computer. Maybe
an ASR 10.

Looks dope. I like the brick. You should get some bass traps in there too.

Thanks mang. I have 50 sq. feet or so of acoustic foam that I still need to put up. In the vocal booth, the joists are exposed from the upstairs. I haven't figured out if I'm gonna put drywall or a drop ceiling in. Regardless, I'm gonna put foam up there.

I'm gonna buy some bass traps from Foam Factory. Great prices on foam, f%$# Auralex!!

Checked the Foam Factory site and might just purchase some isolation wedges, pyramid foam and the corner solutions.

Yeah, they're legit as hell. I've ordered from them a couple of times and they service is great. They have some good deals on eBay too.

What kind of keyboard/synth is that?

ASR-10 I just need to get the floppy drive replaced because it won't format disc anymore. It will boot up old discjust won't format to save new songs.

Got my old Alto Sax back from mom's house. I was just getting good when I quit. But plan to re learn. Especially since I found out that Smallz from J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League plays woodwinds including the alto

This is my new studio... I just got finished clearing all the junk out and removing the walls. It had a lot of water damage from 5 years ago. Anyway its 20 x 16. I plan to sound proof it as much as possible. It's gonna have a booth big enough for a drum kit and standing room and a walk in closet for equipment and wires. At most I think it's gonna cost me 3,000 to 6,000 to see it finished, but I got time. I'll post pictures of the progress as I add on. It should be interesting cause I need a lot done cause as of right now anyone under 5 ' feet has to do a run jump in order to get in the door...
